Description: This course is designed to provide an introduction to the tools of econometric
analysis. Students should complete this course with a thorough understanding of basic regression models. Topics covered include estimation and inference in the classical regression model as well as dummy variables, functional form, and sample selection. We will link theory to data through the use of STATA, a statistical software program frequently used by social scientists and health researchers.

 Workload: One midterm, one cumulative final exam, a group project, and weekly homework assignments.
