ECON BC1001 Introduction to Macroeconomics

ECON BC1001 covers macroeconomics at an introductory level, including such topics as how markets operate, welfare analysis, economic growth, economic fluctuations and monetary and fiscal policy.

The course has two 75-minute lectures each week: Monday and Wednesday, 4:10pm to 5:25pm. Additionally, students are encouraged to attend one TA session each week. The course requirements are a midterm exam (30%), a final exam (50%), problem sets (15%), and class participation (5%).

No Pre-Requisite.
